Through Pilgrims, the farm currently grows a 5 to 5.5 lb bird during a six week grow out period, accumulating 6 flocks annually. A 40 x 120 stackhouse/composter is used for the farms waste and mortality disposal. This structure offers six 20 deep bins for mortality composting and 2,400 square feet of litter storage. Secondary mortality disposal pits are also present if needed.
