Investors are Investing in What Lasts

Investors are Investing in What Lasts - article image
It's happening more frequently these days. Investors want a safe landing for their investment dollars. Our founder and land expert, Ryker Carter, recently expounded on this in an article he wrote for our website, Diversifying Portfolios with Timberland Investment. His opinion, crafted from experience and research, was reiterated in a recent article published by ReThink:Rural entitled How Investing in Land Pays OffIn the article he states that land is a "less risky investment" than your non-tangible variety of investments.

There are an array of ways one might increase a return on investment (ROI) with land and he covers quite a bit of that in the article. Beyond use, one may lease to others, grow crops, harvest timber, etc. There are also a myriad of ways to increase the value of the land you have purchased. His advice in using an "experienced land realtor" deserves to be heeded. This is important because there are just as many ways that one can decrease the value of a piece of dirt. And when investing in land, that's the last thing we want to see happen. A land expert can certainly steer you in the right direction and help you see the things you may not even know to look for when pondering the purchase of a tract of land.

Ryker refers to many different types of land used for investment,  including gentleman farms, pastureland, timberland, and farmland to name a few. I've included a few links to show you some of these types of property that we have available. If investing in land is something you have been pondering, now may be the time to get in touch and see how much your investment dollars can grow.
These are only a few of the possibilities when it comes to investing in land. Feel free to go look at the properties section of our website to peruse more possibilities. Or maybe you know exactly what you are looking for and need help finding it. Any of our land agents will be able to help you find that perfect piece to meet your needs. You can see a list of our agents here.

We always encourage you to Invest in What Lasts and we want to help you do that! We look forward to hearing from you soon!
