Think Land. Land Think. However you want to say it, the Land Summit in Atlanta was great! From the opening Comedian, Van McCall of Denton, GA to the award-winning renowned speak, Dr. David Kohl of Blacksburg VA, the summit was entertaining, attention grabbing, and a pool of information. This year’s convention not only offered a wealth of education, but also hosted benefit auctions for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. An array of prizes to include an iPad and cash giveaways up to $1000 were also amongst the fun and networking. Although, the aim of LandFlip.com, the host of the summit, is to inform and educate land professionals about the market in real estate, they go about doing so through a variety of avenues. This venture enabled us to mingle to share ideas, experiences, and goals with other land professionals from all across the nation while taking the opportunity to listen to top-level professionals in Global Economics, Bioenergy, Land and Housing Market Researchers, Bankers, and more. This was a fantastic experience and we are looking forward to implementing what we learned and passing it on to our customers as we uncover the new world of investing: Land!
